Introduction to Systematic Reviews - Part 2

Description:
This workshop introduces you to the remaining steps of conducting a systematic review after exporting the search results to your bibliographic management software e.g. EndNote, Zotero or to Covidence.
 
Participants will also be introduced to the following steps of conducting a systematic review:
  • Screen titles and abstracts; obtain full text of papers.
  • Document the search process using a PRISMA Flow Diagram.
  • Extract and document data using a standardized form.
  • Systematically assess the risk of bias, using appropriate risk of bias tools.
  • Analyse and synthesise different types of research using narrative synthesis or quantitative synthesis (meta-analysis).
Attendance at the Part 1 workshop is not a prerequisite for attendance at Part 2.
 
This workshop is being led by academic Dr Nat Marshall who will introduce new material and provide expert guidance for completing a systematic review.
