2021: PGRF Grant Writing Workshop (online)

Description:

Macquarie University Higher Degree Research candidates are encouraged to apply for funding from the Postgraduate Research Fund (PGRF). Candidates may apply for up to $3000 for activities that add value to their research project. Examples of such activities include a trip to make a conference presentation or to visit a laboratory or archive. 


This workshop is only for HDR candidates who are applying for the MQ Postgraduate Research Fund (PGRF) Round 1, 2022 (covering activities between 1/1/22 and 30/6/22). It provides guidance in preparing a grant application that is informative, readable and persuasive. 

 

** This workshop will also answer FAQs, so if you have any questions relating to the PGRF that you would like answered, please email them to hdrlearningskills@mq.edu.au by July 14 **


Information on the PGRF, funding rules and application forms can be downloaded from the HDR Grants and Funding page.  

Participants should bring their draft PGRF application.

 

NOTE: This workshop will now be offered via Zoom. Zoom access instructions will be provided the day prior to the workshop.
