2021: PGRF Grant Writing Workshop (Zoom)

Description:

Macquarie University Higher Degree Research candidates are encouraged to apply for funding from the Postgraduate Research Fund (PGRF). Candidates may apply for up to $3000 for activities that add value to their research project. Examples of such activities include a trip to make a conference presentation or to visit a laboratory or archive.  

This workshop is only for HDR candidates who are applying for the MQ Postgraduate Research Fund (PGRF) Round 2, 2021 (covering activities between 1/07/21 and 31/12/21). It provides guidance in preparing a grant application that is informative, readable and persuasive. 

*This workshop will also feature answers to FAQs, so if you have any questions relating to the PGRF that you would like answered, please email them to hdrlearningskills@mq.edu.au by 3 February 2021 * 

Information on the PGRF, funding rules and application forms can be downloaded from the HDRO Financial Support page.  

Participants should bring their draft PGRF application.

NOTE: This workshop will be offered via Zoom. Zoom access instructions will be provided the day prior to the workshop.
