Conference Hacks workshop

Description:	So, you’ve been accepted to present your research orally, with a poster. Maybe you also have been asked to chair a session. Congratulations! Time to polish that Powerpoint presentation and dry-clean your best business suit. But is there more to conferences than just looking the part? This 2.5-hour workshop covers several less-obvious but essential skills for participating fully in academic conferences. From presenting papers, posters and lightning presentations to chairing sessions and networking during coffee breaks, you’ll not only hear some great advice but get to practise with real props! If you have one, please bring a conference poster. Places are limited, so register now to secure your spot! *please note that this workshop is face-to-face only*
