Graduate Research Welcome 2026 (April Intake)

Description:	Due to low registration numbers, this event has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. We would still love to connect with you and support your start to the research journey. You are warmly invited to join our upcoming Online Meet & Greet + Graduate Resources session, where we will share key information from the Welcome presentation and provide an opportunity to meet others and ask questions. When: 10.00am - 11.30am, Thursday 6 August Where: Online Register here: https://myrdc.mq.edu.au/registration/new/485021 ----- Commencing students in the PhD or MPhil are warmly invited to this Graduate Research Welcome morning-tea, hosted by the Graduate Research Academy (GRA). This welcome is for students from all four Faculties - join us for a catered morning tea, and meet people from your own department and beyond. As part of this Welcome, you will: 9:45am: Meet your fellow students and enjoy morning tea 10am: Be welcomed by the Graduate Research leadership team, and gain an overview of the dedicated research resources and support available to you 10:30am: Network with your fellow researchers and key contacts for your Faculty 11am: Take a campus tour with experienced research students who can share their tips & secrets (optional, approx. 30 mins). This Welcome is for PhD or MPhil students who've commenced, and Global PhD students who've arrived at Macquarie recently. MRes & Grad Dip students who missed their Welcomes earlier in the year are also warmly invited.
