Introduction to Research Impact Metrics

Description:

This workshop is designed to help you understand and find your own research metrics, as well as how to generate basic metrics reports.

We will explore how to find quantitative measures like citation counts and field-weighted citation impact, along with alternative metrics to track influence in fields like government policy and social media mentions.

Research metrics can be used to support

  • grant applications,
  • applications for promotion, and
  • your research profile.

More information can be found in the library guide Research Impact Metrics.
