2023: Infographics – Part 1
| Description: | Infographics are a great way to communicate data quickly and often in one glance. They give your audience an opportunity to get an overall ‘snapshot’ of your research and can include data, graphs, images and text. Infographics can be used to: · simplify complex concepts · share information quickly · create better knowledge recall · draw the audience’s attention to an important issue · provide a snapshot of a larger picture · convey a set of actions or interrelated concepts. Part 1 of the Infographics workshop, introduces Graduate Researchers to the key concepts and principles of designing an Infographic, including reviewing samples of the genre. This workshop will be followed by a Part 2 session, on Thursday 26 October 10am-12pm, where candidates can create a draft Infographic and receive feedback. Register for Part 2 here. For further information contact the facilitator: Dr Francesca Mataraga francesca.mataraga@mq.edu.au * This workshop will be recorded. |
