2021: HDR Writing Workshops: Making Rigorous Description and Justification of Research Methods

The workshops aim to foster better understanding in research communications and sharper writing performance for HDR students in social sciences or humanities. Each workshop is comprised of a short lecture, tasks and student interaction. MRes and PhD students are encouraged to attend all workshops or individual workshops in which they are interested. This workshop “Making Rigorous Description and Justification of Research Methods” sets the following objectives:

• Structuring elements of the method section,
• Describing elements in detail,
• Justifying validity or reliability for data collection and analysis.
