2019: 2019 PGRF Grant Writing Workshop

Description:

Macquarie University Higher Degree Research candidates are able to apply for funding from the Postgraduate Research Fund (PGRF). Candidates may apply for up to $5000 for activities that add value to their research project. Examples of such activities include a trip to make a conference presentation or visit to a laboratory or archive.

This workshop is only for HDR candidates who are applying for the MQ Postgraduate Research Fund (PGRF) Round 2, 2019 (covering activities between 1/7/19 and 31/12/19). It provides guidance in preparing a grant application that is informative, readable and persuasive.

Information on the PGRF, funding rules and application forms can be downloaded from the HDRO Financial Support page.

Participants should bring their draft PGRF application.

NOTE: For anyone off-campus, this session will also be livestreamed via the HDR Learning Skills ilearn unit ECHO block. Please fill in the registration form and write in the "Special needs" section that you will be logging in remotely, so we know if anyone is livestreaming!
