Pathway to Research Impact: Planning for, demonstrating and articulating the impact of your research

Description:

Demonstrating the benefits of your research, especially its impact beyond academia, is increasingly required when applying for and reporting on grants. It is also a powerful tool when marketing your research to potential partners, the media, the public and your peers. But what exactly is research impact? And how do you show that your research is having impact?

This 2.5hr workshop addresses these questions. We will explore what research impact is and how you can conceptualise, track and articulate it. You will begin to develop a ‘pathway to impact’ plan for a specific research project or program of your choice. The workshop can be delivered to individual researchers, small groups, departments and research centres.
