2020: MQBS Research Training Modules: Module 1 How to be critical in research

Description:

Hi HDR candidates,

You may have realised that doing research demands some skills we do not practise much in everyday life; rather, they can only be honed through specially designed training programs. I am glad that a training program is coming your way. Comprised of a variety of research training modules, it meets your specific learning needs for research, such as critical thinking, knowledge synthesis, working with theories, and more. In tandem with the Academic Writing Workshops, the research training modules would forge systematic development of knowledge and skills to assist with your research endeavours.

Module 1 How to be critical in research 10:30-12:00pm Friday 21/8

In this module, you will learn to be critical by asking thought provoking questions and using a framework to critique studies or theories.
