2020: Daily Writing Practice (Online via Zoom)

Even at the best of times, establishing a regular writing practice can be challenging. Right now, with all that is going on around us, routines may be the first thing to disappear. But showing up and making time each day to sit down and write can help us stay grounded in the present and focused on embracing the ordinary. Especially when so little feels normal or predictable, maintaining a daily routine can be precious, and enlivening. 


Since beginning these daily sessions in early April, we have now accumulated a steady community of 10-15 writers (and counting!) who show up each morning to write and work together. Come join us as we learn new ways to keep the momentum and to stay present to what matters in our work.

 

We're on Zoom Mondays to Fridays, 9am-10am.

 

You can choose to work on anything you like, as long as it helps you get into a consistent routine. I will also be putting up some writing prompts each morning which you are welcome to use if you feel your writing muscle needs a little warm-up exercise.
