2020: HDR Research Communication - Presenting your Research

Want to communicate your research more broadly and/or thinking of entering the 3MT competition this year? This will be a great online session for you!

It can be nerve-wracking to present your research to a large audience in an accessible and engaging manner. This online panel session will help you gain an insight from people who have experience and success in communicating their research.

The panel will be comprised of current and recently graduated HDRs who have participated in research communication competitions and/or have represented their research to a range of audiences. They will speak about their experiences, their fears and any opportunities that emerged as a result of their engagement. They will be able to give practical advice on how to prepare a short talk about your research and tell you about the most important things to remember when delivering the talk.
