2020: How to win the 3MT (Zoom)

 This year, 3MT is going virtual!

The format and requirements are different, and the way we approach the competition will need to follow suit. However, the spirit and core aspirations of 3MT remain clear and strong. In whatever format it takes, the 3MT competition:

cultivates students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills. Presenting in a 3MT competition increases their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.

HDR Learning Skills is offering an online training session to provide competitors with greater insight into these new requirements, and how to construct your recorded entry. Specific guidelines for the new 3MT presentation format can be found here.
