Discussing Research Ideas with Non-Academic Partners

Description:

For most non-academic partners, research is a means to an end; a way to improve products or services provided by their organisation or the stimulus to innovate to introduce new ones.  This session explores ways to discuss your ideas that helps to surface the motivations and drivers of partners.  It covers ways to generate partner confidence and interest in your research capabilities and current project interests that will increase the likelihood of progressing to the project scoping stage.  This information session is best provided on request for academic departments, research centres, or small groups and can be customised to suit your needs.
