Developing a Plan to Involve External Partners in Your Research

Description:

This session is an introduction to planning for research engagement with external partners (e.g. industry, government and not-for-profit).  It covers research impact as a strategy and policy context, identifying benefits of partnering and the need for diversification of funding sources outside traditional grants.  The session outlines available learning and development resources and guides researchers towards development of a plan to help pursue their own potential partner links. This information session is best provided on request for academic departments, research centres, or small groups and can be customised to suit your needs.
