2020: Daily Writing Practice (Online via Zoom)

Even at the best of times, establishing a regular writing practice can be challenging. Right now, with all that is going on around us, routines may be the first thing to disappear. But showing up and making time each day to sit down and write can help us stay grounded in the present and focused on embracing the ordinary. Especially when so little feels normal or predictable, maintaining a daily routine can be precious, and enlivening. 


Starting from Monday April 6, I will be sitting down at my desk every morning, 9am-10am, to write. I invite you to join me (with your special brew!) as we learn new ways to work, to keep the momentum, and to find community in writing together. These are not teaching sessions, just a dedicated time slot each morning for people to come together to write/work on their respective projects. 

 

You can choose to work on anything you like, as long as it helps you get into a consistent routine. I will also be putting up some writing prompts each morning which you are welcome to use if you feel your writing muscle needs a little warm-up exercise.
