Macquarie Business School Early Career Researchers are cordially invited to the following workshop on Corporate Engagement: This workshop will provide Early Career Researchers at Macquarie Business School with an introduction to corporate engagement at MQBS, including an overview of available resources to support academics with their engagement, guidance on relevant topic areas as well as an interactive session designed to help participants to develop an engagement relevant pitch. Furthermore, Distinguished Professor Deborah Schofield will share her insights and tips on how to design impactful research. Details: Date: Thursday 20th February Venue: Room 523, 4 Eastern Road Program: 10.00--10.15 am: Introduction and Welcome 10.15--10.35 am:‘Who cares and what matters? Themes, Streams, & Tips' - Presentation by Associate Professor Anna Krzeminska, Department of Management Engagement Coordinator 10.35--11.00 am: Interactive 'elevator pitching' exercise in breakout groups 11.00--11.45 am: Presentation by Distinguished Professor Deborah Schofield, GenIMPACT: 'Building a world class research program and productive engagement' 11.45 am--12.15 pm: Conclusion, Q&A For those registering, please complete the ‘elevator pitch’ worksheet that will be emailed to you, and bring this along to the workshop.
